Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and medical professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Whether you work part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
2. Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
3. Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements.
4. Help administer medication reminders and support with medical appointments.
5. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of care, ensuring that clients' needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in elderly care or healthcare-related fields.
2. Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Must be reliable and punctual.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certification in First Aid or CPR.
2. Possess a background in home health or caregiving.
3. Are bilingual, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include working on weekends.
