Assisting Hands Home Care is a veteran-owned agency based in Layton, serving clients throughout Davis County and the surrounding Weber County area. We help seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes, and we value the caregivers who make that possible.

Caregiver and Lead Caregiver Opportunities

We’re hiring for several types of positions, including weekday and weekend lead caregivers, daytime and evening caregivers, overnight caregivers, and part-time and full-time schedules. Tell us your availability when you apply, and we’ll discuss which opportunities fit your experience and schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship and non-medical personal care in clients’ homes
• Help with daily activities, such as meals, light housekeeping, and mobility
• Follow each client’s care plan and communicate changes or concerns to our office team
• Treat clients and their families with patience, respect, and dignity

Lead caregivers may support multiple clients and help cover changing care needs. We’ll discuss the responsibilities and availability expectations for a specific lead position during the interview.

What We’re Looking For

• A dependable person who communicates clearly and enjoys helping others
• Reliable transportation to client homes in Davis and Weber Counties
• The ability to provide compassionate care and follow a care plan

Previous caregiving experience or a relevant certification is preferred. Experience supporting older adults or people with disabilities, CPR and first aid training, and a current TB test are helpful.

Pay and Scheduling

Pay is $17–$20 per hour, depending on the position. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts.
