Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and reliable care to seniors and adults in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety within their homes. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll have a flexible schedule to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist seniors with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to help enhance the quality of life for clients.
3. Support seniors in daily activities and tasks, promoting independence and safety.
4. Communicate effectively with clients and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervisory staff.
5. Encourage and engage clients in social and recreational activities to improve their well-being.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Empathy and compassion for seniors and their families.
2. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Proven ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
4. Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality.
5. Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work weekends or holidays if necessary.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience in caregiving or related fields.
2. Possess relevant certifications in home care or senior services.
3. Are trained in CPR and First Aid.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Part-Time and Full-Time options and requires availability throughout the week, including weekends.
