Role Overview

As an Overnight Caregiver with Homewatch CareGivers of Louisville, you’ll provide one-to-one, compassionate, and personalized support to adult clients during overnight care visits. Your work ensures clients can maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes. We’ll handle the scheduling for you, offering flexible full-time or part-time opportunities that fit your availability. Specific Client Locations can vary according to client needs. Current examples are Cherokee Park and Norton Commons areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care focused on safety, hygiene, comfort, and well-being.
• Assist with personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation as needed.
• Offer companionship and cognitive engagement to enhance quality of life.
• Administer medication reminders and support clients with daily routines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to ensure care plans are followed.

Qualifications

You’re a great fit if you have:

• A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
• The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English).
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Experience in adult caregiving or a related field.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to safely transfer an adult using stand-and-pivot and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Hoyer style lift experience.
• Availability for at least 3 overnights per week (36 hours).
• Are not a smoker

Excellent Qualifications

• Valid SRNA or CNA certification.
• Experience with dementia care, Parkinson’s, mobility support, or Hoyer lifts.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, or weekends in addition to overnight care.

Employment Type & Availability

• Full-time potential with flexible scheduling.
• Options include weekdays and weekends.

Caregiver Retention Bonus:

Work at least 100 care hours in the first 3 months of employment with no call offs and receive Bonus of $250!
