We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years, providing in-home care assistance to seniors and adults needing extra support in their daily activities.

Role Overview:

As an Elderly Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to seniors and adults in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure their loved ones are well-cared for, support their independence, and enhance their quality of life. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a genuine difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, toileting, mobility support, and hygiene.
2. Offer companion care that includes conversation, company, and medication reminders.
3. Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation as needed.
4. Support clients in maintaining their independence and promote their overall well-being.
5. Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families to ensure comfort and care satisfaction.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field, especially with seniors.
2. Strong communication skills, with a focus on empathy and patience.
3. Ability to be reliable, punctual, and flexible according to the needs of clients.
4. Understanding of basic health and safety principles related to caregiving.
5. English language proficiency to effectively communicate with clients and families.
6. Have certifications in CPR or first aid

Bonus If You:

1. Possess experience with specific conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, with availability needed from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is fully remote and open to any candidate in the Kingsland, Georgia area.
