Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client, while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are met.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassion and a genuine desire to help others.
2. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Ability to perform physical tasks required for caregiving.
4. Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus but not required.
5. Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Bonus If You:

1. Have formal training or certification in caregiving or a related field.
2. Are familiar with working with clients with specific needs such as dementia or disabilities.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
