Role Overview:

As a Male Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care Cave Creek, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, on-site personal care and assistance to clients in North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and the surrounding communities such as Anthem and Cave Creek. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each client’s needs are met while maintaining their independence and dignity. Whether you're helping with personal care or companionship, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as showering and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
3. Support clients in their daily routines, ensuring comfort and safety.
4. Complete light housekeeping and light meal preparation tasks as needed to maintain a safe environment.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members about care plans and changes.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Minimum of 9 months of professional caregiving experience.
2. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
3. Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
4. Compassionate and kind attitude towards clients, showing empathy and understanding.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience in hospice support or working with specific client needs.
2. Current Direct Care Worker Certification (DCW) or higher certification such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
3. Are able to provide transportation or run errands using your personal vehicle (mileage provided).

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Part-Time but may have hours up to or exceeding 4o hours per week for the right candidate.

Location:

This position is on-site only. Our two clients are based in North Scottsdale, near Cave Creek, and in North Phoenix, near Anthem.
