Caregiver | Full-Time, Part-Time & On-Call Shifts Available

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at Heartwood, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and attentive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our supportive team to enhance the quality of life for those in our care. When you work on-site, in the clients home, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections and provide essential support for individuals to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes.
2. Administer medication and monitor clients' health and safety while providing companionship.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care are met.
4. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
5. Take ownership of client assignments and help drive a nurturing and respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or similar qualification.
2. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and their families.
3. Experience in providing personal care or in-home support services is preferred.
4. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately and patiently with elderly and disabled individuals.
5. Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to your responsibilities.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications in CPR or First Aid.
2. Possess skills and experience with dementia and memory care clients.
3. Have experience with respite care or home health clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

These positions are scheduled for 24 hour client support. There will be hourly daytime shifts and 8-12 hour overnight shifts available 7 days per week. Transporting clients will be required.

Additional potential shifts may be available in the area after company establishes our presence and standards of service. Travel allowance or time will be considered on a case by case basis.

Location:

This position is on-site in the clients' home, located in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
