Role Overview:

As a Team Lead at Uptown Cheapskate, you will be responsible for managing store operations and leading a passionate team to deliver exceptional customer service. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with team members to ensure a welcoming and organized shopping experience, while promoting a culture of teamwork and value. Whether you work on-site, you'll have the opportunity to influence store performance and customer satisfaction positively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and a positive shopping atmosphere.
2. Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
3. Assist in managing inventory, including sorting, pricing, and merchandising items effectively.
4. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner to maintain positive relationships.
5. Collaborate with management to implement store promotions and community outreach initiatives, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Proven experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in a fashion resale or related industry.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer service.
3. Ability to motivate and develop team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.
4. Proficient in handling inventory management and retail operations.
5. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full Time, including evenings and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Charlottesville, Virginia.
