Role Overview:

As a Senior Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support our clients need. Working on-site in Jesup, Georgia, you will facilitate activities of daily living and bring joy to our clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, toileting, hygiene, and mobility support.
2. Offer companion care through conversation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
3. Assist with transportation needs for clients.
4. Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and their families.
5. Document client care accurately and report any changes in their condition or needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in a caregiving role or in home care is preferred.
2. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on client comfort.
3. Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of English.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
5. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
6. Have certifications in first aid or CPR.

Bonus If You:

1. Possess specialized training in elderly care or Alzheimer's care.
2. Have experience working with clients with specific health challenges.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible availability including weekdays and weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Jesup, Georgia.
