Caregiver (Flexible Hours)

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, dependable, and attentive one-on-one care for clients in the Allen, TX area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing staff to create a comfortable and supportive home environment for our clients. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to tailor your care approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
2. Provide companionship and emotional support
3. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
4. Follow specific client care plans and medical requirements
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the client’s home while respecting sensitivities regarding fragrance.

Qualifications:

You’re a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to respect client sensitivities and follow care plans
4. Willingness to work with a flexible schedule, including weekends
5. Current certification or training in caregiving is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional training in elder care or specialties such as dementia care
2. Possess CPR and first aid certification
3. Are fluent in another language, enhancing communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability required seven days a week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Allen, Texas.
