CNA - Overnights, Part-Time

We provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs who assist with a variety of care needs from simple companionship to skilled nursing care. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Role Overview:

As a CNA - Overnights, Part-Time at BrightStar Care in Tinley Park, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional personal care to our clients during night shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing staff to ensure that each client receives individualized care based on their unique needs. Overnight shifts range from 10 to 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care services, including assistance with toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
2. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a nurturing environment.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
4. Monitor and document clients' health and emotional status, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
5. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personal care plans and adapt care strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid CNA certification in Illinois.
2. Strong communication skills in English.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Compassionate, patient, and understanding when dealing with clients.
5. Experience in home health care is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with clients with dementia.
2. Can provide bilingual support (additional languages other than English).

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability each night of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Tinley Park, Illinois, and surrounding suburbs.
