Role Overview:

As a Weekend Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home care services to individuals who need support to maintain their independence. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure personalized care plans are followed. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships in the community, making a significant impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
2. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
3. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness.
4. Prepare meals and assist with nutrition to promote a healthy diet.
5. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment.
6. Provide transportation assistance to appointments and social activities as necessary.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in a caregiving role or related field.
2. Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.
3. Compassionate and respectful attitude towards clients and their needs.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
2. Possess specialized training in areas such as Alzheimer’s or Dementia care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Full-Time position available for weekend shifts, from Friday to Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Kissimmee, Florida.
