Role Overview:

As a HHA - Evenings, Weekends, and On-call at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing personalized, in-home care to clients during evening and weekend shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. Whether you work during scheduled shifts or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to contribute positively to the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
2. Deliver companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
3. Offer medication reminders and assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
4. Provide transportation assistance to scheduled appointments or social events as needed.
5. Respond to client needs and assist with respite care for family caregivers.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or similar.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
4. Experience in providing personal care or support services in a home care setting.
5. Compassionate and dependable, with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with seniors or veterans in a caregiving capacity.
2. Possess additional certifications related to personal care, such as CPR or First Aid.
3. Are bilingual and can communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles, with a schedule primarily focused on evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only and is based in Altamonte Springs, Florida, with opportunities to serve clients in the surrounding Orlando area.
