Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Hours: 24 hours per weekend (12 hours per day)

Job Description

Homewatch CareGivers of Winter Garden is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or Caregiver for a consistent weekend position caring for an elderly female client in her home.

The client is an 88-year-old woman diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. She uses a wheelchair and walker for mobility and requires assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs).

The caregiver will also provide limited assistance to the client's husband, consisting only of medication reminders and heating pre-prepared meals. All other personal care and ADL assistance will be provided exclusively to the wife.

We are looking for a dependable caregiver who can commit to both Saturday and Sunday shifts and provide attentive, compassionate care.

Schedule & Compensation

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Total: 24 hours per weekend
• Consistent weekend schedule

Responsibilities

Primary Client – Wife:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Assist with wheelchair and walker use.
• Prepare and serve meals as needed.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Offer companionship, supervision, and fall prevention support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow the individualized care plan.

Limited Assistance – Husband:

• Provide medication reminders.
• Heat and serve pre-prepared meals.
• No additional personal care or ADL assistance required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or Home Health Aide preferred.
• Experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease is highly desirable.
• Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care.
• Knowledge of fall prevention and safe patient-handling techniques.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be available for both Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekend schedule.
