Our licensed, bonded, and trained caregivers offer personalized services including companionship, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and 24/7 care. We aim to offer our clients personalized non-medical support services in their homes, assisting the elderly, disabled, and others needing assistance to maintain quality of life. Role Overview:

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to offer tailored services that enhance the quality of life for our clients. Whether you work part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your hours throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate personal care including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to maintain their dignity and independence.
3. Prepare meals and assist with hydration to ensure dietary needs are met.
4. Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
5. Complete necessary documentation and report any changes in client health or behavior to appropriate team members.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate approach to caregiving with a strong desire to support the elderly and disabled.
2. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
3. Reliability and a commitment to adhering to scheduled hours and duties.
4. Previous experience in a caregiving role or relevant certification is an asset.
5. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect their privacy.

Bonus If You:

1. Have prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
2. Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
3. Are bilingual, particularly in Spanish.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours available from Monday to Sunday.
