Role Overview:

As a Part Time Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure our clients' needs are met while fostering an environment of independence and respect. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to adjust to various client needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
3. Support clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
4. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Home Helpers team to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. A compassionate nature and a passion for helping others.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
2. Have specialized training or experience in caring for clients with dementia or other specific needs.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability to work any day of the week, including Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Eureka, Illinois.
