Caregiver / HHA

Providing non-medical in-home healthcare in the privacy of a client’s home or Assisted Living Facility, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Role Overview:

As a Day Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to clients in need. In this role, you will closely follow the client's Care Plan to ensure the highest level of service. You'll have the flexibility to choose hours that suit your availability, all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
2. Support clients in mobility and transportation needs to appointments and outings.
3. Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life.
4. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the care team.
5. Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care delivery.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
3. Ability to follow care plans and document services provided accurately.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and their families.
5. Prior experience in caregiving or related fields is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR or first aid certification.
2. Are proficient in additional languages to communicate with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available Part-Time, and we welcome caregivers to work flexible schedules throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Humble, Texas.
