Pay: $17–$19/hour, plus weekend and holiday pay differentials

About Us

Assisting Hands Home Care Gilbert is a locally owned agency and part of the national Assisting Hands network. We provide non-medical, in-home care that helps older adults and people with disabilities stay independent, safe, and connected at home. What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly companionship and conversation
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Prepare meals and encourage healthy eating and hydration
  • Give medication reminders (no medical tasks)
  • Do light housekeeping and laundry
  • Drive clients to doctor visits, errands, and outings, and accompany them
  • Support clients living with dementia and those receiving hospice care
  • Notice and report changes in a client’s condition
  • Clock in and out and document each visit in the AxisCare mobile app

What You Need

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
  • A caring, patient, dependable attitude
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to lift and assist with transfers
  • Smartphone for scheduling and timekeeping
  • Caregiving experience preferred. CNA, caregiver certification, or family caregiving experience is a plus.

Assisting Hands Home Care – Gilbert provides non-medical, in-home care that helps aging adults, people with disabilities and individuals with temporary or permanent physical limitations live safely and independently at home. That includes clients recovering from surgery, an injury or a hospital stay. Our caregivers help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, errands and companionship. They also provide respite for family caregivers who need a break.

We're a locally owned and operated agency in Gilbert, serving families across the East Valley, and we're part of the national Assisting Hands Home Care network. That gives our team the personal feel of a small local business with the training, systems and support of an established brand.
