Role Overview:

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure clients receive compassionate and respectful care tailored to their preferences and needs. Whether you work part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to manage a schedule that fits your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and assistance to clients including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
3. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
4. Administer medication reminders and assist with health monitoring.
5. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in caring for others.
2. Strong communication skills in English.
3. Previous caregiving experience or training in personal care services.
4. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
5. Reliable and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Speak additional languages to assist diverse client needs.
3. Possess experience in working with special needs populations.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include flexible hours, available across weekdays and weekends.
