About Us:

BrightStar Care is a home care company that promotes well-being in the home. We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home care to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing team to ensure that each client receives personalized and compassionate care according to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including toileting, bathing, and grooming.
2. Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
3. Deliver companionship care to enhance clients’ emotional well-being.
4. Assist with dementia care and ensure client safety at all times.
5. Communicate effectively with clients and family members regarding care needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid CNA certification or equivalent caregiving experience.
2. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
3. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience working with elderly clients or those with dementia.
2. Have training in specialized care techniques.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time or part time- up to 40 hours per week, with possibility of overtime if desired!

Location:

This position is on-site only in Tinley Park, Illinois and surrounding suburbs.
