About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver to provide dedicated support for an elderly Indian husband and wife. The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, and respectful, with a strong commitment to ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity in a home environment.

This position is best suited for someone who is comfortable living with the family and offering consistent, attentive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall health and well-being
• Assist with medication reminders (as needed)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light household tasks related to care
• Respond promptly to needs and proactively ensure safety

Required Qualifications

• Must currently reside in Chicago, IL
• Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Ability to work in a live-in arrangement
• Compassionate, dependable, and highly attentive
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Indian culture and traditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to cook Indian cuisine
• Ability to converse in a Northern Indian language
• Previous experience caring for elderly couples
