Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at BrightStar Care, you’ll provide high-quality, individualized nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the Farmersville, TX area. You’ll work closely with our clinical leadership and care team to ensure each patient receives safe, compassionate, and personalized care.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working independently in a home health setting with the support of an experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits and direct patient care in the home.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Perform wound care and other skilled nursing procedures as ordered.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document care provided.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on medications, treatment plans, disease management, and overall health needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other members of the care team to coordinate services and promote positive patient outcomes.
• Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and company standards of care.

Qualifications

You’re a great fit for this role if you have:

• Current and unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to patient homes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent clinical judgment, organization, and attention to detail.
• A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Bonus If You

• Have previous home health or skilled nursing experience.
• Have experience with wound care or other advanced nursing skills.
• Hold additional nursing certifications.
• Are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.

This is an in-home, field-based position, providing care directly in patients’ homes throughout the Farmersville area.
