About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra support with their activities of daily living. We help individuals maintain their independence, allowing them to avoid relying on family, friends, or neighbors for care. Our services include personal care—bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating assistance—as well as companion care, which encompasses conversation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation. With over 13 years of experience in the Southeast Georgia area, we are passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a CNA/HHA at FirstLight Home Care, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that each client enjoys a safe and comfortable environment. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you will have the flexibility to adjust your schedule based on client needs and your availability, which may include day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients to enhance their well-being.
2. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy environment.
5. Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
6. Assist with mobility and transfer to ensure safety and comfort.
7. Transport clients to appointments or run errands as required.
8. Help clients engage in daily activities that support their quality of life.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable personality with a focus on client well-being.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
3. Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions.
4. Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
5. Ability to meet applicable background and health screening requirements.
6. Have prior experience in home care or nursing.
7. Possess certifications in CPR or First Aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Speak additional languages that can enhance communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities, with flexible scheduling available based on client needs.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Folkston, Georgia, catering to clients in the surrounding areas.
