Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to help maintain the independence and quality of life for seniors. Whether you work Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you and meets client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation.
2. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals according to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
4. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
5. Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
6. Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation for errands or appointments.
7. Support clients with daily activities to foster their independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable, with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
3. Ability to work independently in a client’s home environment.
4. Reliable transportation to meet clients at their locations.
5. Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Have experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
7. Possess certifications in CPR or first aid

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, with flexibility needed based on client requirements and caregiver availability.

Location:

This is an on-site position based in Kingsland, Georgia.
