We provide personalized support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We offer both traditional hourly home care and our flexible Community Care program, which provides short, task-based visits throughout the day—making care more accessible and affordable for a wider range of clients.

Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients through compassionate, personalized care. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to deliver support that empowers our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether you work part-time on-site in Fort Mill, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personalized assistance with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
2. Assist clients with meal preparation and medication reminders.
3. Engage in light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
4. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
5. Collaborate with fellow caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
2. Demonstrated experience in caregiving or related fields.
3. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
4. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
5. Flexible availability, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certification in CPR or First Aid.
2. Possess training in specialized areas of care, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability needed on Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
