About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care to include assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating assistance to companion care which includes conversation and company, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, etc. We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized and compassionate in-home care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure they receive the support required to enjoy their daily lives. Whether you work day, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to adapt your schedule based on client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
2. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with eating as necessary.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
5. Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
6. Assist with mobility and transfer, including support for walking and getting in and out of bed.
7. Provide transportation and run errands for clients as needed.
8. Support clients with their daily activities and promote a safe and comfortable home environment.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Part-Time, with shifts available across Monday to Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Hinesville, Georgia.
