About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating assistance, to companion care, which includes conversation and company, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation. We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years now and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to our clients, ensuring they enjoy their best day, every day. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to deliver the support and care our clients need to maintain their quality of life. Whether you're providing personal care or companionship, you will be vital to our clients' well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
2. Provide companionship and engaging conversation to enhance the quality of life for clients.
3. Support medication reminders and adherence to care plans.
4. Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care practices are communicated and implemented.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
2. Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
4. Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity.
5. A commitment to providing compassionate care to seniors and adults in need.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience in senior care or healthcare settings.
2. Possess additional certifications related to personal care or healthcare.
3. Are bilingual and can communicate effectively in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required on all days of the week.

Location:

This position is located in Glynn County, Georgia, and is on-site only.
