Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels of WNC, you will be responsible for providing compassionate home care to seniors in the Asheville and surrounding counties. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team to ensure the highest quality of life for our clients. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
4. Monitor and report on clients’ health and well-being.
5. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure patient care plans are followed.

Qualifications:

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.
2. Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and their families.
3. Professionalism and passion for caregiving.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Bonus If You:

1. Have previous experience in home care or caregiving.
2. Are familiar with CPR and first aid practices.
3. Speak additional languages to support diverse clientele.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available seven days a week.

Location:

This is an on-site position located in Asheville, North Carolina.
