What You’ll Be Doing:

• As a Caregiver, you’ll be entrusted with delivering essential services to clients based on their individualized care plans. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Assist clients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and eating, always with respect and care for their dignity.
• Offer emotional support to clients, providing the companionship that helps them feel connected and valued.
• Help with light housekeeping and running errands, ensuring clients’ homes are clean and they have everything they need.
• Observe any changes in your client’s condition or environment, and address safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and staff to ensure the highest quality care is provided.

What We’re Looking For:

• We’re seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers who have the following qualities:
• Previous experience as a caregiver, in either a home care setting or skilled facility.
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic are essential. You’ll work independently, taking responsibility for maintaining professional, positive relationships with your clients.
• Willingness to maintain certifications and further your caregiving skills.
• Ability to connect with clients and families in a thoughtful and supportive manner.
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• You must have your own reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance as some clients may need to be driven to appointments or errands.

Additional Requirements:

• Must meet the agency’s hiring criteria as defined by our minimum standards.
• Must pass a background screening with satisfactory results.

No Medication Administration: Caregivers do not administer medication or perform tasks that require the skills of a licensed nurse or therapist.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work an average of 20-40 hours per week.
• Ability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand for up to 5 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds.
• Use necessary tools and equipment to assist clients effectively.
