Our team focuses on helping clients maintain independence while receiving reliable assistance with everyday tasks. Role Overview

We are currently looking for compassionate and dependable In-Home Care Assistants to support clients throughout Los Gatos and nearby communities. This position involves providing individualized support in a private home setting while building genuine relationships with the people we serve.

Team members work collaboratively with our office staff and client families to ensure care is delivered consistently and aligned with each individual’s needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

• Provide friendly companionship and conversation to help reduce loneliness and promote emotional well-being

• Support safe mobility including walking assistance, transfers, and fall prevention

• Prepare light meals and help clients maintain healthy daily routines

• Provide transportation or assistance with errands and appointments when needed

• Communicate observations or changes in a client’s condition to supervisors and family members

• Help keep the client’s home environment tidy, organized, and safe

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, or related environments is helpful

• Dependable, responsible, and respectful when working in clients’ homes

• Clear communication skills and the ability to follow care plans and instructions

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the care team

Additional Skills That Are Valued

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Experience supporting individuals with memory loss or dementia

• Ability to communicate in multiple languages
