Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that our clients enjoy a safe and comfortable home environment. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts, you’ll have the flexibility to adapt your schedule based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation.
2. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
5. Remind clients to take their medications as scheduled.
6. Assist with mobility and transfer needs.
7. Provide transportation and run errands for clients.
8. Support clients in daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable nature.
2. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
3. Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
4. Reliable transportation to travel between client locations.
5. Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Have experience in caregiving or related fields.
7. Are trained in CPR/First Aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Speak additional languages, enhancing communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position includes Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts available, with flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability.

Location:

This position is on-site only, specifically serving clients in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
