Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at BrightStar Care of Fairfax, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care directly to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our nursing staff to ensure clients receive personalized attention, enhancing their overall well-being and comfort. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you’ll have the flexibility to design a working schedule that fits your needs while truly making a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring a friendly and positive environment.
• Monitor client health and report any changes to the nursing team to help manage care effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, following health and safety guidelines.
• Engage in training programs and meet all necessary compliance regulations to ensure quality care.
• Provide client transportation as needed utilizing personal vehicle (REQUIRED-NOT OPTIONAL) -We provide mileage reimbursement!

• Hourly Rate: $19-21/hr. for PCA (with certificate)
• Hourly Rate: $18-19/hr. for Caregiver/DSP/HHA

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following:

• Compassionate nature and dedication to providing quality care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in home healthcare or relevant field
• Insured Auto/valid driver's license
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to travel to locations in Fairfax County/surrounding areas
• Physical ability to complete demands of job (must be able to lift, stand, bend, kneel, twist, push/pull up to 50 lbs)
