Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care management team to ensure that clients receive the compassionate assistance they need to enhance their quality of life. You will have the flexibility to work various shifts, including day, evening, overnight, and weekends, depending on client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and conversation to clients, fostering positive relationships.
2. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with medication reminders.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
5. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients’ safety and comfort.
6. Provide transportation and errands for clients as needed.
7. Help clients with daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.

Qualifications:

2. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
3. Ability to work independently in a client’s home environment.
4. Reliable transportation for commuting to clients’ homes.
5. Willingness to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Fluency in English to communicate effectively.
7. Have prior experience in caregiving or related fields.
8. Possess certifications in CPR or first aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training in memory care or Alzheimer’s care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only in White Oak, Georgia, and requires candidates to be in the local area.
