What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care (non‑medical)

• Support mobility and safe transfers

• Prepare simple, healthy meals

• Offer light housekeeping and home organization

• Provide transportation for errands and appointments

• Document client status and recommend changes to care plan

• Bring positivity, patience, and reliability to every shift

What Makes You a Great Fit

• A natural encourager with a warm personality

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day, including traveling to client homes

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Homewatch CareGivers is an in-home care provider committed to fighting the "plagues of the human spirit," i.e., loneliness, isolation and boredom, to help our clients remain happy, healthy and safe in the dignity of their own homes.

The most important thing that makes us different is our caregivers! We seek out and recruit the most caring and reliable people, then ensure they have the training and tools necessary to provide the best possible experience for our clients. Our caregivers complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year, and they receive quarterly feedback to ensure that they are engaged and on the leading edge of their skills.

Another key difference is our Total Care System approach. With each client, we conduct a comprehensive assessment that includes safety, mental, emotional, physical, and nutritional factors. This allows us to create a care plan that addresses issues that other providers may overlook, and that will keep the client at home where they want to be instead of in a hospital or other care facility.

Lastly, Homewatch CareGivers exists because we love our community and want to make a positive impact through what we do. We have a passion for service and our ultimate goal is to improve lives, both for our clients and caregivers, by being the highest quality home care provider in North Alabama.
