Role Overview:

As a Weekend Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you’ll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in maintaining their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
4. Follow care plans as directed by supervisors and healthcare professionals.
5. Serve as a companion and support system for clients, fostering connection and communication.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Must have NJ CHHA certification
2. Compassionate and caring personality, with a genuine desire to help others.
3. Excellent communication skills, particularly in English.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Flexible availability to work various shifts, particularly on weekends.
6. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications such as CPR or First Aid.
2. Speak additional languages, enhancing communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability required on weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site in Edison, New Jersey.
