Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ventura, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home support to clients, ensuring they lead safe, comfortable, and independent lives. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our compassionate team to implement personalized care plans and enhance the quality of life for those we serve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement personalized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
2. Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
3. Monitor and document client progress and changes, providing feedback to the care team.
4. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide the best support possible.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or healthcare roles is highly desirable.
2. Strong communication skills, able to connect and build rapport with clients and families.
3. Compassionate and patient, with a commitment to improving clients' quality of life.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, when necessary.
5. Reliable transportation for client visits within the designated area.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications such as CPR or First Aid.
2. Are bilingual and can communicate effectively in languages other than English.
3. Have training in specialized areas like dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time roles, with flexible scheduling options throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Ojai, California.
