Role Overview:

As a Caregiver - Overnight at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home assistance to our clients during the overnight hours. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the client care team to ensure our clients receive the necessary support and care they need at night. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely and assist clients in Wharton and neighboring areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate overnight care and assistance to clients in their homes.
2. Assist clients with personal hygiene, medication reminders, and other daily living activities.
3. Respond to any urgent needs or emergencies that may arise during the night.
4. Document and communicate any changes in clients’ conditions or needs to the care team.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
3. Reliability and ability to cover last-minute shifts.
4. Possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle.
5. Ability to pass a national background check.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications in CPR or first aid.
2. Are bilingual and can communicate in languages other than English.
3. Have prior experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability needed on various days, including Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is remote, serving clients in Wharton, Texas, and nearby counties.
