Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that each client receives the personalized support they need to enhance their quality of life. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to provide care with compassion and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and dietary needs based on client preferences.
4. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry tasks, bathing and grooming, shopping, errands, and transportation as needed.
5. Collaborate with our team to ensure effective communication and care consistency.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Empathy and compassion for providing care to seniors and those with disabilities.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
4. Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
5. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required; we provide training!

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability on Monday through Sunday.
