Position Overview

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing care team in St. Petersburg, FL. This role provides non-medical, one-on-one care in clients’ homes.

This position offers flexible scheduling with part-time or full-time hours (20 to 40 hours per week), based on availability and client needs. Day Shifts Weekdays and Weekends available.

No prior home care experience required — we will train compassionate, reliable caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
    • Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
    • Mobility and transfer assistance
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed
  • Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure client comfort, dignity, and safety at all times

Qualifications

  • CNA or HHA certification preferred (Florida)
  • Willingness to learn — training provided
  • Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused
  • Ability to assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and meal prep
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening with fingerprinting (required)
  • Previous caregiving or home healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
