Home Care Field Supervisor – 5+ Years Caregiving Experience Required

Role Overview:

As a Field Supervisor – Senior Home Care at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional home care services. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregivers, clients, and office team to ensure that all individuals receive the compassionate support they need. This on-site position allows you to have meaningful interactions and flexibility in your supervisory tasks throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct caregiver-client introductions and support new client starts.
2. Complete supervisory and quality-assurance visits in client homes.
3. Provide hands-on personal care and dementia care when coverage is needed.
4. Step in for caregiver call-offs, urgent starts, and unexpected coverage needs to maintain continuity of care.
5. Mentor, train, and support caregivers in the field.
6. Reinforce proper caregiving techniques, client care plans, professionalism, and FirstLight standards.
7. Monitor client satisfaction and quality of care and identify concerns or changing needs.
8. Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the office team regarding care needs and service concerns.
9. Provide office and operational support when not assigned to client visits or field coverage.
10. Participate in an every-other-weekend rotation for urgent coverage needs.
11. Remain flexible as daily assignments change based on client needs, call-offs, new starts, and operational priorities.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. At least 5 years experience in a caregiving role, particularly with seniors with significant work with clients with dementia and those with high personal care needs.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to engage with clients and families with compassion and empathy.
5. Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday and On-Call Every Other Weekend.
