Role Overview:

As an Experienced Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure personalized care that respects the dignity and preferences of each client. Whether you work on-site in Bulverde, Texas, you’ll have the flexibility to choose from various shifts available throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations to enhance their day-to-day experience.
2. Assist with personal hygiene tasks, ensuring that clients feel comfortable and well-cared for.
3. Prepare meals according to client dietary needs and preferences, promoting healthy eating.
4. Remind clients to take medication and assist with daily living activities.
5. Monitor and report any changes in client conditions to the team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Qualifications:

You’re a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
2. Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Compassionate and patient demeanor while providing care.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications in first aid or CPR.
2. Are bilingual and can assist clients in another language.
3. Have experience with elderly care, particularly with those having mobility or cognitive challenges.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with availability from Monday through Sunday.
