Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at FirstLight Home Care of Bethlehem, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and comfort of each client, while assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence. This position is on-site only, servicing the Allentown, Easton and Bethlehem areas, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being.
3. Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as needed.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
5. Document and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Compassionate nature and a desire to help others.
3. Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
5. Minimum certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have training in dementia care or related fields.
2. Are CPR and First Aid certified.
3. Speak additional languages to enhance communication with clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability needed Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This is an on-site position located in the Allentown, Easton and Bethlehem areas.
