Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home support to seniors and individuals in need of assistance. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare providers to ensure clients receive compassionate and personalized care that facilitates their independence. Your presence will significantly impact the lives of those you care for, making a difference in their daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
2. Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
3. Help with meal preparation and nutritional support.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
5. Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands as needed.
6. Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure client wellbeing.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in home care or similar field.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Compassionate nature and commitment to providing high-quality care.
4. Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of clients.
5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification in first aid or CPR.
2. Have specialized training in caring for individuals with dementia.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full-Time with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Peoria, Illinois.
