HVAC Service Journeyman

Role Overview:

As a HVAC Service Journeyman at JS3, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure the reliability, integrity, and service we promise to our customers are consistently delivered. As a full-time employee working in Portland, Oregon, you'll have the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems
2. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
3. Collaborate with the team to ensure service quality
4. Respond to service requests and emergency situations promptly
5. Take ownership of key projects and help drive team outcomes

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Certification as an HVAC Service Technician
2. Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Ability to work independently and in a team
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
6. Must have valid driving license.

Bonus If You:

1. Possess knowledge of smart HVAC technology
2. Hold additional relevant certifications
3. Have experience with commercial HVAC systems

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday with on call rotating schedule for evenings and weekends.

Location/Work Environment:

We're looking for someone near the Portland, Oregon as this is an in-person position driving from site to site in NW Oregon and SW Washington.

Regularly lift up to 75 lbs, work in high locations such as roofs, work in tight spaces and safely use ladders.
