The Opportunity

We are currently hiring dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide individualized support to clients in Los Gatos and nearby communities. This position offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, helping them maintain their daily routines while preserving independence and dignity.

You will collaborate with our care coordination team to ensure services are delivered thoughtfully and consistently.

Core Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and mobility

• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction to enhance quality of life

• Assist with safe movement, transfers, and fall prevention strategies

• Prepare light meals and encourage balanced nutrition

• Provide transportation to appointments or assist with errands as needed

• Monitor and communicate any changes in client condition to the care team

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free home environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, or related fields preferred

• Professional, dependable, and attentive to detail

• Clear communication skills and ability to follow individualized care plans

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with supervisors

Additional Skills That Are a Plus

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Experience supporting clients with dementia or chronic conditions

• Multilingual communication abilities
