Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate, personalized care to our clients in their homes in Camden County, Georgia. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to provide support that enables their loved ones to maintain their independence. You’ll have the flexibility to work Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call shifts, making a significant impact in your clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene, and eating.
2. Provide companion care, ensuring engaging conversation and company to clients.
3. Handle medication reminders and light housekeeping duties.
4. Transport clients to appointments, activities, and errands as needed.
5. Develop meaningful relationships with clients and their families, prioritizing their comfort and happiness.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor towards seniors and individuals needing assistance.
2. Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
3. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
4. Dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
5. Experience in caregiving or in-home assistance is a plus but not required.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications related to caregiving or first aid.
2. Are bilingual, with proficiency in languages other than English.
3. Possess experience with specific medical conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, available seven days a week.

Location:

This position is on-site only, serving clients in Camden County, Georgia.
