Client Manager

Job Overview

Homewatch CareGivers of Sterling provides care for individuals in their own homes. We care for all ages, assisting clients with a team of skilled care providers.

We operate in a dynamic environment, balancing clients, caregivers, and round-the-clock schedules. In this role, you will work closely with clients, caregivers, and our office team to keep operations running smoothly. You have strong people skills, work well under deadlines, are always even-tempered but firm when needed, and enjoy problem-solving.

Major Responsibilities

Client Services

• Serve as primary contact for 30–35 clients
• Manage client care, schedules, communication, and in-home QA visits
• Conduct assessments and caregiver introductions
• Handle inquiries/referrals, explain services, complete intake, and follow up with prospective clients

Caregiver Scheduling & Support

• Manage caregiver assignments, schedules, call-outs, and coverage needs
• Maintain caregiver availability and communicate assignment details
• Approve caregiver time submissions and address concerns

On-Call & Team Support

• Participate in the paid rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays
• Respond to urgent client, caregiver, and scheduling needs
• Collaborate with the office team to resolve day-to-day needs

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Associate degree required. Relevant customer service, client/case management, care coordination, or scheduling experience preferred.
• Communication & Organization: Strong interpersonal, time-management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and frequent interruptions. Ability to communicate and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and navigating scheduling, communication, CRM, and database systems.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and required background/drug screening.
• Fieldwork: Must be comfortable traveling throughout Loudoun County and Western Fairfax County for client visits.
• Home care/healthcare, staff scheduling/supervision, and bilingual abilities are preferred but not required.
