We provide personalized in-home care that helps seniors remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes. Our caregivers assist with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and more.

Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver with Visiting Angels of WNC, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with seniors while helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

You’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in Asheville and surrounding counties while being supported by a team that values communication, professionalism, and great caregiving.

Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, we offer flexible scheduling and a variety of shifts to help you find a schedule that works for your life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support.

Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.

Observe and report changes in clients’ condition or well-being.

Follow each client’s individualized Plan of Care and communicate with the caregiving team.

Help create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for every client.

Qualifications:

Are compassionate, dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping others.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and team members.

Take pride in providing high-quality care.

Are comfortable with flexible scheduling, including weekend availability when needed.

Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bonus If You:

Have previous caregiving, home care, or related experience.

Have CPR or First Aid training.

Speak an additional language.

Have a passion for working with seniors and making a difference in your community.

Employment Type & Availability:

Both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available, with shifts offered seven days a week.

Location:

This is an in-person caregiving position serving clients in Asheville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas.
