Role Overview:

As an in-home Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Homewatch Caregivers of Central San Diego, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to individuals who require assistance to maintain their independence. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care and dignity. Whether you are in the client homes in the San Diego area or Coronado Island, you’ll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
2. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Support clients in achieving their personal goals and maintaining their dignity.
3. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks
4. Monitor, document & report clients’ health conditions and progress.
5. Transport & escort clients to appointments or other errands

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team.
3. Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
4. Willingness to undergo training and complete necessary certifications.

Bonus If You:

1. Have a certification in first aid or CPR.
2. Possess experience or desire to work with specific care needs (e.g., dementia, mobility issues).

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Part-Time/per diem OR Full-Time, Daily.

Location:

This position is on-site only, in client homes around Central San Diego, Coronado Island and San Marcos, California.
